About American Nails

American Nails is a nail salon based in Alfreton, open seven days a week excluding Sundays. It holds a decent customer rating, reflecting a mixed range of customer experiences, though a notable number of reviewers have returned consistently over several years. Satisfied customers frequently mention the approachable and attentive manner of the team, with several noting they have visited regularly for an extended period. Reviewers highlight that staff take care over their work rather than rushing, and the salon has been praised for making nervous or younger clients feel comfortable and at ease. Attention to detail is a recurring theme, particularly in relation to nail work and eyebrow waxing, which is also offered alongside the core nail services. The salon provides gel manicures, acrylic nails, nail art, classic manicures, pedicures, massage, and premium treatments, with booking available. Opening hours run from 9am to 7pm Tuesday through Saturday, and also Monday, with the salon closed on Sundays. Customers are advised to book in advance to secure an appointment, particularly around busier seasonal periods.

Lovely polite staff! They got my little girl in and made her feel special. My daughter is very nervous but in here she was completely at ease and they did exactly what she wanted. Would go back and would recommend. Thank you for a lovely experience for myself and my daughter!
