I booked my mum for a pedicure and facial threading today at Candy. Lee did a great job on the pedicure and really took the time and effort to exfoliate and tailor the pedicure to her needs. Priya also did a wonderful job with the threading, was super friendly, and made us feel comfortable throughout. Thank you both!

Love, love, love, Hair Candy... I've been doing my nails with them for almost 10 years and Lisa and her team are awesome. I recently tried another salon a couple of times, as I was visiting with a friend, but have come back to my favourites because they're unbeatable in terms of service, atmosphere, and the quality of the nails. They always take special care of their customers too, with nice touches such as a gift of hand cream... highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Candy in Wanstead enough. I am extremely fussy about where I get my nails done, I like them done to a really high standard & I have found that no where else locally can meet the standards of Candy. I actually don't live near to the salon, but I'm happy to drive for a while because I'm always happy with the results. The salon is clean and stylish & the range of colours they have for nails is the best! The staff are so friendly, I always feel so welcomed, and enjoy that time to myself every time I go- it's a lovely treat. The team always offer lovely drinks and biscuits, & if ever I've called up the salon they've always answered the phone super quickly & remember me which means a lot to me to feel like a valued customer. Also, the salon have loyalty cards which is worth using if you plan to go regularly.

I recently visited Pemika for a perm, and I couldn't be happier with the results. As a guy with fairly short hair, I wasn't sure how well a perm would turn out-but Pemika did an amazing job. She really took the time to understand the look I was going for: something natural with loose curls and waves. After letting it dry and using some sea salt spray (which she recommended), it came out exactly how I wanted-soft, wavy, and with just the right amount of curl. Even with the shorter length, she made it work perfectly. If you're a guy thinking about getting a perm, especially with shorter hair, I'd definitely say go for it. It was totally worth it, and I'd go back to Pemika again without hesitation. Highly recommend!
