I can only describe Gemma's work as magical! My nails have really come along and I feel this is due to Gemma's guidance. I never have an idea what I'd like and Gemma always suggests and delivers something amazing. It's a relaxing experience and I always look forward to my nail appointment. Highly recommend!

I have only had my nails done a few times over the years due to my job but Gemma has gone above and beyond to not only take my nails into a fantastic condition (yes a biter -hopefully not much longer!) but to provide a beautiful finish. Gemma takes ger time and truly cares about her clients and her art. Already booked in for another session! Highly recommend Gemma & Nails by Duchess Design!

I had a manicure with Gemma, I found her to be very easy going and friendly. I had Acrylic removed from my nails, BIAB applied and some nail art. My nails were treated with nourishment and vitamins throughout the manicure. I then had a relaxing massage and an exfoliating scrub was applied, to finish my hands were slathered in a moisturising hand cream and I was given a bespoke cookie to take home. The overall experience was very relaxing and I would highly recommend.

I decided to treat myself for a luxury pedicure, at first I was a bit hesitant going to someone's house, but on arrival I felt like I'd known Gemma for years. Everything was so friendly, homely and relaxing. Queenie the giant greyhound was a welcomed addition to the pedicure as she was really very friendly and gentle. I loved everything about the treatment and have now booked myself in for a manicure 💅

As someone that suffers with bad anxiety, choosing a new nail place was a nerve racking thing to do!! But Gemma made me feel at home 100%. Such a welcoming, lovely, kind hearted, funny women! The experience was such a delight and relax full. Couldn't recommend Gemma enough! She is very passionate about her job which shows in her work! Very very pleased with my experience and will be going back again! This is my new nail place for sure!
