I wanted to share my incredible experience with Gil and how she transformed my nail care routine. I discovered Gil three months ago during a time when I struggled with the habit of biting my nails. My nails were practically non-existent, and despite attempting extensions in the past, they remained weak, leading me to fall back into the biting cycle. That's when Gil came into the picture and suggested starting with a builder treatment to strengthen my natural nails and potentially curb the biting habit. The first picture captures the remarkable difference after Gil applied the builder treatment for the first time. Thanks to Gil's expertise and the builder treatment, I found it nearly impossible to bite my nails, and gradually, the urge to do so diminished. I continued regular sessions with Gil, and over time, my nails not only regained their strength but also began to grow at an astonishing rate, necessitating frequent shaping sessions. Aside from her exceptional skills, Gil's warm welcome and willingness to share her knowledge make every appointment a pleasure. Plus, her thoughtful gesture of serving delicious coffee adds an extra touch of hospitality. I'm incredibly grateful to have found Gil, and I cannot thank her enough for the amazing job she has done. My nails now look healthy, strong, and beautiful, thanks to her dedication and expertise. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Gil to everyone seeking exceptional nail care and a genuinely wonderful experience. The nails in black were done today! Recently joined Gil's client list, and how pleased I am. Not only lovely clean attractive salon, lovely up to date nail colour selection, but also what a lovely and clever lady she is. I'm usually quite ok at choosing my nail colour, but today, Gil knew it was the wrong choice, and heh ho, I'm so pleased with the colour she guided me towards instead. Quality of application? pain free removal of every bit of dead cuticle, and long lasting application of varnish/gel/whatever it's called, finished with a lovely hand lotion, love it.

I moved to Taunton last year and when I was looking for a new place to get my nails done, I came across Gil and I was very excited as I am originally from Brazil and have been looking for a Brazilian manicure for a long time. Gil didn't disappoint and I continue to come back to get my nails and eyebrows done all the time. Gil is great at what she does and a perfectionist. She'll never let you leave if you or her aren't happy with the results. Couldn't recommend Nails By Gil Silva more!

Gil's nail and waxing salon is gorgeous, clean, organised, comfortable and very pleasant. I have been Gil's client for over 4 years and I highly recommended! She goes above and beyond to make me feel and look my best. My nails have never been so strong and the waxing and eyebrow process is very relaxing and that is because she is so skilled, cares and loves what she does. Highly recommend!
