  I feel I am being generous with my review, however, I'm aware this is a brand new business so do not wish to be too harsh! I usually go to a nail tech in Halifax, however I thought I'd try here for a change as they just opened & the salon is much closer to me. Firstly, 5/5 for the staff; the nail technicians are so friendly and make you feel at ease. They helped me to choose out the colours I wanted, and continued to do a good job of the nails! I had BIAB done, my first time (as I'm usually an acrylic girl) and it's been a positive experience! I went for a basic French tip. There were a couple of times I had to point out that the nails were filed a little wonky, or that the tip wasn't painted the straightest, but I'm such a perfectionist that this can be overlooked. They cost £35, which I thought was reasonable. Now, for the negatives. I've had a tip put on one of my nails, and it's held together really well. But I don't think I'd trust this place to do my acrylics, or anything with customers patterns. This is because of the fact I had to give my own corrections to the nails, but also because a client came in whilst I was having them done, complaining her acrylics came off only a few days of having them put on. Another client sat next to me, had to ask her mum to ask the technician to redo the nail art, as it was pretty poor quality. SO if you're going to get your nails done here, I'd recommend it for French tips/block colour but maybe nothing too difficult if you already have another nail salon you trust. I've had my nails painted now for almost a week, and they've started to chip (see images) a problem I've NEVER experienced with my Halifax salon. Secondly, and finally, the salon wasn't exactly the calmest of atmospheres. Now I know this is picky, and not the salons fault, but I felt like I'd stepped into a 4-6 year old girls birthday party when I walked into the salon. When I get my nails done, and I'm paying a lot of money, I don't expect the place I'm going to, to be crawling with children. Now again I am AWARE it's the summer holidays, I know this, and so yeah it's not necessarily the salons fault (hence why I didn't take this into consideration when giving a rating) but my god I didn't know children got acrylics so young! I mean I must have increased the average age in the salon by ten-fold🤣 I'd defo go here again, like I said for something basic, and it's really handy to have just down the road! Just be cautious when going for something with a difficult design!
