  Wanted to wait a few weeks to see how the nails held up. I couldn't be more impressed with Tru Nails and Clarissa's work - the salon is a really nice atmosphere and I felt really relaxed. Clarissa's upfront design work was really considerate and ensure the mad nails were balanced, if not out there 😂 My nail prep was really thorough and gentle. She encouraged me to be bolder and I love the end result. It's been 20 days and the nails are still in great condition despite various rounds DIY'ing with Zinsser paint. I'm looking forward to booking back in for my next set. Pics are day 1 and day 20 for reference.

  The most loveliest people, immediately felt welcomed! I don't get my nails done often and this was my first time visiting, Clarissa was looking after me and she was brilliant at understanding my inspiration pictures and making them my own. It was so fun and I had a great experience. Min was also very friendly and accommodating! Deffo coming back again (for my wedding nails!!) Thank you again xo

  Is it worth coming all the way from London? In one word, definitely! In lots of words, honestly it's such a lovely place. Today Sasha did my nails and she made me feel at home and comfortable. Plus, more importantly, she is incredibly talented. I'm obsessed with my new purple nails, I can't stop looking at them. Excited to book my next trip.   A Huge part of me has always wanted to have my nails painted, but stigma around Gender has always held me back somewhat as has being in the food service industry. I have since been looking for a more inclusive Nail Salon to see how expressing my sexuality and myself would make me feel. a friend reccomended Tru Nails to me. Tru Nails is so wonderful its gender neurtral neuroqueer and inclusive to anyone. I felt so welcome and safe here to be myself its based in kemptown which truely is the beating heart of the queer scene in brighton. after much altering of my appoitment on my part I had the privilage of visiting this place on wednesday 2/10/24. I was greeted by my nail artist Clarissa she was so kind and friendly, she remembered I had been in before to check the venue before which was really touching. they have so many amazing colours for your nails and so many different designs ect. Clarissa made me feel very calm and relaxed its the first time ive ever had my nails done so I was naturaly anxious. I worked with Clarissa and she really helped me come up with a design and we worked back and forth as the appoitment went on. I normaly struggle because of my autsim but this place made me feel so calm. What Clarissa produced was honestly stunning the pictures really just don't do them justice. it was so interesting to learn about how the process of painting your nails works. I learned lots of new things which was so nice. I let Clarissa take the lead this time we went for a outerspace theme and she continued to add to the design as time went on. this isnt a manicure this is litteral art being written on the tinyest of canvases. Thank you so much Tru Nails and Clarissa she is a credit to you. my nails sparkle in the sun and im so happy ive been long struggling to express myself outwardly but here I am. I will be back soon with more designs. level 3 art work by the way!

  I just had my nails done by Clarissa at Tru Nail Art and am thrilled with the result. I asked for a fish design I saw on the salon's instagram, but with some extra details to make it unique. Clarissa did such a good job - I am blown away by the artistry and skill of the artists working at the salon. It's also a really relaxed environment.
