One of the best experience doing my nails ever! The nail technician (sorry, I didn't ask your name!) worked really fast and precisely. She made sure I liked the colours I chose for my manicure and explianed me both the process accurately and future options for my next visit, which I found really informative and helpful as I'll be back! The price is really affordable and told in advance, which I appreciate, and I was kindly offered a loyalty card. The atmosphere felt really relaxed and chilled, and my nails look lovely and exactly as I wanted. Thank you!!

My teenage daughter frequents this nail salon and always comes back happy. For Christmas, she asked me to get matching nails with her as a mum/daughter together time. It has been a few (many) years since I had been to a nail salon, but as soon as I walked through the door, the smell took me back. My daughter had booked the very last appointments, so we were the last in the shop. There was Christmas music playing as I sat in the middle chair, my daughter's friend had joined our party, but decided on a different design. We showed our pre chosen design to the the lovely lady and gentleman behind the desk and they started our treatment. The application of the acrylic nails was swift, professional and without nicks to the skin (which I remember all too well from my younger days). By this time, the doors had been closed for the night, it was already late, but the staff were still full of cheer, we were offered drinks, sweets and were enjoying polite conversation. I would also like to mention, there was a bathroom to use, if needed, there were phone chargers built into the desks and we were frequently asked if we needed anything, which made it feel like we were valued customers. When the time came for the design, I watched in awe as this gentleman made sure every detail of the design was on point. When I informed the gentleman that I was a carer and was worried at the possibility of scratches/marks etc, he made sure to ask if what he was doing was OK. The design my daughter chose, had pretty little gems, so we made sure they would not protrude, nor that the extra gel would make the nail too thick. This amazing gentleman was painting straight lines on my nails, better than I could do with a ruler. He was passionate about his work and ensuring every detail was perfect. The chatter of my daughter and her friends made the experience flow nicely, with the staff joining in as if they were old friends. The time flew by and before we knew it, we were all finished and discussing the cost. I was pleasantly surprised at the price of both sets of nails, with the amount of detail, gems and precision work, customer service etc. It has been 3 weeks since I had my nails done, the design looks as good as the day they were done, yes my nail has grown, yet there is no lifting of the acrylic, no chipping of the design and I haven't lost any of the gems. I was made abundantly aware, during application, that if anything happened to the design/nails I was able to go back to have the issue fixed, at no extra cost. I would definitely recommend this salon to those looking to build a relationship with their nail technician or even if the nails you require are a 1 off. This salon deserves every star they have and in conclusion to my rambling, King Nails is definitely the best in SE9.
